Story update: Zynga insists its Haiti fundraising efforts were not a scam. You can see Zynga’s full response at Valleywag. You be the judge.
Actually, the people of Haiti have been completely scammed. This is an absolute outrage.
According to Valleywag, Zynga, the company behind the hugely popular games, such as Farmville and Mafia Wars, has reportedly confirmed to investigative reporters at Brazil’s Folha Online, it kept half the money in certain fundraising campaigns linked to its Haiti relief efforts.
You can read Valleywag’s entire post here. Your blood will boil.
And, crazy enough, Zynga still has its “Zynga Haiti Relief Fund” banner at the top of it’s web page. Incredible.
Did you donate to Zynga’s efforts? What are you thinking now?
Bigger question, are you going to continue to play these games of “virtual currency” that provides Zynga with true dollars that they are reportedly pocketing? Oh yeah, and pocketing behind the guise of helping Haiti?

Seriously people, when will the corruption end?
When will people be held accountable for their actions?
The answer is NOW. And YOU have the power.
That’s what the True Dirty Laundry is all about. It’s about the power of people and social media working together to bring about change.
Zynga is the real evil empire here. Join me. BOYCOTT ZYNGA!
It’s as simple as that. Are you game?
