My quick thoughts…
I think the ad is very clever on Nike’s part, however, it’s a total stretch, as somehow Nike found this audio that was meant for something else and is applying it to this situation (unless I’m missing something completely). So, like Tiger, it’s not genuine.
As a PR/reputation management professional, I am so tired of the notion of “creating an image” instead of “going with what you’ve got” and just being HONEST!
Seriously, when will PR ever get back to reality? Would love your thoughts!!
